Summary: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Utah. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations will be essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment according to established electrical codes and regulations.
  • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable routing for new construction, renovations, and remodeling projects.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and identify the root causes using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure their proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors to plan and execute electrical installations, ensuring proper wiring, grounding, and circuit protection.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout and specifications for electrical installations.
  • Install and connect electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
  • Test electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues related to voltage, resistance, and current flow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes throughout all phases of the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including documentation of inspections, repairs, and installations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced electricians to promote their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical technology, codes, and regulations through continuous learning and professional development.
Physical Demands & Qualifications:
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license issued by the State of Utah.
  • Proven experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical theory, principles, and practices related to electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed and may be asked to travel.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
