Summary: 
Rocky Mountain Electric is seeking a motivated and versatile professional to support multiple areas of our operations. This is a multi-skilled position that combines driving and equipment hauling with warehouse and yard management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to step in wherever needed.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are efficiently delivered, organized, and available to support our field operations.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Yard Operations:

  • Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift
  • Keep warehouse and yard clean, safe, and organized at all times
  • Assist with pulling, sorting, and stocking inventory as needed
  • Assist with cleaning and servicing equipment as required
  • Follow daily instructions from warehouse supervisors while maintaining a positive attitude

Truck Driving & Equipment Hauling:

  • Operate CDL & Non-CDL vehicles to assist in getting materials/tools to and from jobsites (if CDL-licensed)
  • Transport equipment using a trailer with CDL vehicle (if CDL-licensed)
  • Drive a straight truck to haul material/tools using an equipment trailer
  • Deliver materials to and from sites as needed, with or without a trailer
  • Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of all materials and equipment

Administrative & Field Support:

  • Verify and submit timecards and track related credit card expenses
  • Communicate effectively with field staff via phone, email, and text utilizing MS Outlook and digital communication tools 
  • Collaborate closely with the operations manager & warehouse specialist to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Assist with pre-fabrication and/or light assembly tasks as needed
  • Assist in field as needed

Physical Demands & Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of safe loading, securing, and unloading practices for equipment and materials
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working on both concrete and dirt surfaces, indoors and outdoors
  • Capable of following verbal and written instructions efficiently and safely
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)
  • CDL not required but preferred
  • Experience hauling a trailer & equipment is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, smartphones, and basic digital communication tools
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
