Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support the successful execution of construction projects by managing project documentation, tracking materials and submittals, coordinating with field and project teams, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining organized records, facilitating communication between office and field staff, and keeping projects on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor General Contractor (GC) project portals for newly issued construction documents, revisions, addenda, and RFIs
- Download and upload updated documents to internal systems (I-Drive and project job folders in Build)
- Maintain accurate and current project documentation logs
- Coordinate with the General Foreman (GF) to confirm material deliveries and jobsite readiness
- Communicate potential delays or discrepancies to the Project Manager (PM)
- Track and document the submittal review process from initial submission through final approval
- Maintain submittal logs and follow up with responsible parties to prevent schedule delays
- Ensure approved submittals are properly distributed and filed
- Work closely with the Project Manager (PM), General Foreman (GF), and Project Foreman (PF) to support job-specific documentation needs
- Assist with maintaining organized project files and compliance documentation
- Support communication between office and field teams
Project Closeout-Specific Responsibilities:
- Compile, submit, and track all project closeout documentation, including:
- As-built drawings
- O&M manuals
- Warranty documentation
- Final inspections and certifications
- Panel schedules
- Phenolic labeling
- Ensure timely and complete submission per contract requirements.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- 1–3 years' experience in construction project support, preferably in electrical contracting
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed and may be asked to travel.
